The castle and its garden
The castle of La Roche-Guyon is an historical monument located in the West of Ile-de-France region, 5 minutes from Normandy
The castle offers a stunning view of the Seine river bank.
It was a strategic defense point, dating back from the Viking invasions of the region. It became also a defense pont for the french and the english fighting to rule the region. Along the centuries, the castle became a residence for local Lords, who added architectural elements to the original structure.
In more recent times, the castle has been occupied by the Germans. The castle, partly built in the hill, has some bunkers to protect from aerial bombings.
The castle now offers a wide variety of places to visit, such as the tunnels, the stables, the dungeon and so much more.

Arboretum de La Roche-Guyon

Situé au cœur d’un massif forestier de 350 ha, forêt régionale de La Roche-Guyon (département du Val-d’Oise, France), l’arboretum est un lieu de promenades aux paysages multiples évoluant au rythme des saisons.
La plantation, qui couvre 12 hectares, est une représentation géographique originale de la région Île-de-France avec chaque département représenté par un massif d’arbres caractéristiques.

L’itinéraire de La Seine à Vélo offre 420km de voies cyclables qui permettent de relier Paris au Havre ou Deauville.
Cette véloroute ouverte en 2020 vous conduit tout droit à la mer sur un parcours qui mêle patrimoine culturel, historique et industriel.
Découvrez la vallée de la Seine à deux roues et laissez-vous surprendre par ses panoramas et vues imprenable sur la Seine en pleine nature.
A Jumièges il faudra faire un choix entre terminer votre voyage au Havre ou à Deauville, l’itinéraire propose 2 parcours pour rejoindre la Manche.
Il faut compter au moins 1 semaine pour réaliser cet itinéraire de 420 km de long.
